2026.3.2.(월) 재외동포청 김경협 재외동포청장님이 우리학교를 방문하였습니다. 학교 교육 현장을 둘러보고 한국국제학교 및 한글학교의 현안 청취 등 학교 관계자들과 소통의 시간을 가졌으며, 우리 학생들의 정서 및 정체성 함양을 위한 도서 100권을 학교에 기증하였습니다.

손으로 말해요, 수어 인생네컷 활동 실시

SKIS 초등학생들은 ‘인생네컷’ 사진 촬영 활동을 통해 자연스럽게 수어를 익히고, 다양한 의사소통 방식의 가치를 경험했습니다. 서로를 존중하며 소통하는 태도를 기르는 뜻깊은 시간을 가졌습니다.

Kindergarten's Christmas Event

This December 24th, the Kindergarten studentsembark on a different Christmas than usual. To celebrate and appreciate howlucky they are, for this Christmas, the Kindergarten students give back toother students who might not have as much as them! The students went home tosort out clothing, toys and items which they do not use or like anymore andpack them up to put into the donation boxes their teachers have prepared. Afterthat, these items will be packed and delivered to the less fortunate, so thatthey are able to enjoy a great holiday season as well. Additionally, the Kindergarten students were alsoable to engage in fun activities such as decorating their very own Gingerbreadman decorating kits! They were able to let their imagination run wild and designtheir Gingerbread cookies to exactly how they desired it! The remaining boxesof cookies were also not wasted as the students share their joy with the staffin our school, truly showcasing the generosity and caring nature of ourstudents in Kindergarten!

Kindergarten K2/G1 Collaboration Event

On the 5th December, students from the G1 level came down to our Kindergarten to spend some time playing with our K2 students. As up-and-coming G1 students, our K2s were curious and excited to find out what being a G1 student entails! During this event, the students from both levels were able to interact and spend some time together participating the various activities prepared by the K2 and G1 teachers. After the activities, the students were able to enjoy some delicious treats to round up the fun morning. Through this event, the Kindergarteners were able to have a better understanding of what it means to be an elementary student and find a sense of ease during this major transition in their lives. The G1 student's care for their juniors, as well as how they led the K2s truly show a great example of what it means to be a wonderful G1 student!

유치원 11월 전통문화의 날

유치원 전통문화의 날 11월 활동으로 우리나라의 '족자'에 대해 알아보는 시간을 가졌습니다. 족자의 쓰임에 대해 이야기 나눈 후, 전통그림을 붙여 꾸며보는 활동을 하였습니다.

Kindergarten Field Trip to Art Science Museum

On November 26th, the students in Kindergarten embarked on their field trip of the semester to the Art Science Museum. In the TeamLab exhibit, the students were able to explore and interact with the art exhibits. By colouring and scanning their artworks, they were able to see their own art pieces come to life right in front of them. The Teamlab exhibits aims to showcase industrial elements as well as nature elements through the form of interactive art, sounds and play, making it suitable for all ages. The students were able to immerse themselves in the art, surrounded by intriguing sounds, lights and interactive pieces of the installations!

Friendship Day with Swiss School

On November 14, nursery and kindergarten students participated in an exchange event with the Swiss School. It was a fun bazaar-style event with various stations to introduce Korean culture to Swiss students. Activities included traditional games, art and craft and sampling traditional Korean snacks such as yakgwa and sikhye. SKIS students interacted with Swiss school students in English and had fun making new friends while introducing Korean culture.

Elementary students have a great Chinese week from 10th Nov to 14th Nov. The activities include: Opera theater, water sleeve dance, face painting& cosplay, opera singing, and horse crop.

SKIS 초등 축구대표팀 스위스대사배 축구대회 참가

SKIS 초등 축구대표팀이 11월 15일(토) Clementi Stadium에서 열린 스위스대사배 축구대회에 참가하였습니다. 이번 대회에서 초등 축구대표팀은 4위의 성적을 거두었습니다. 열심히 노력한 우리학교 대표팀 선수들에게 많은 격려와 응원 부탁드립니다.

G3 Field Trip to Canchita and Lemuel Chocolate

On 11 November 2025, G3 students went on a field trip to Canchita and Lemuel. We were super excited! We visited Canchita to look at some cacao trees and even though the trees were quite young, we spotted some flowers on them. We talked about the conditions needed for growing the cacao trees, and then we sketched them. After that, we headed over to Lemuel where we were shown the process of Bean to Bar that we had learnt in the classroom. It was great for the students to experience this process first-hand. We even got to taste some cacao nibs! Besides having a factory tour at Lemuel, we also decorated a lovely bar of chocolate by putting various toppings on it. We had such a wonderful (and yummy) field trip!

Kindergarten Countries Around the World: Day of the Dead

Following the thematic studies of countries around the world, the students learned about Mexico and their special festival: Day of the Dead. During the week, the students were able to experience the different components and rituals that the Mexican people would usually go through in preparation for the Day of the Dead. The students were able to make skeleton masks, which were a unique symbol of the special day as well as experience a childhood favourite, the Pinata!

제102회 한국어능력시험(TOPIK) 시행(2025. 10. 19.)

제102회 한국어능력시험(TOPIK)이 2025년 10월 19일 일요일, 교내에서 시행되었습니다. 한국어능력시험은 외국인 및 재외동포를 대상으로 대한민국 교육부 국립국제교육원이 운영하고 있는 시험입니다. 한국어의 학습 방향을 제시하고 한국어 보급의 확대를 목적으로 하는 본 시험은 한국 대학(원) 입학 및 졸업, 한국 기업체 취업, 한국 체류 비자 취득 등에 활용되고 있습니다. 이번 한국어능력시험에는 총 201명(TOPIK Ⅰ 76명, TOPIK Ⅱ 125명)이 지원하였습니다. 성적 발표 일시는 12월 11일 15:00이며, 한국어능력시험 홈페이지( www.topik.go.kr)에서 확인 가능합니다.
