[2026학년도 1학기 통합학급 공동체 활동 '추억 한 장, 마음 한 줄'] 2026년 7월 1일 (수) 8교시, 통합학급 학생들을 대상으로 한 학기를 마무리하는 공동체 활동 ‘추억 한 장, 마음 한 줄’ 행사를 실시하였습니다. 학생들은 함께했던 순간이 담긴 추억 사진을 나누고, 친구에게 전하고 싶은 따뜻한 마음을 한 줄 문장으로 표현하며 서로를 격려하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 이번 활동을 통해 학생들은 공동체 안에서 서로의 소중함을 느끼고, 배려와 감사의 마음을 나누며, 한 학기를 의미 있게 마무리하였습니다.

2026학년도 특수학급 사랑약국 행사 진행

[2026학년도 특수학급 사랑약국 행사] 지난 6월 16일(화)부터 6월 19일(금)까지 초등학교 전체 학생을 대상으로 도서관 앞에서 ‘사랑약국’ 활동이 운영되었습니다. 이번 활동은 특수학급에서 직접 준비한 특별한 약을 친구들에게 나누며, 서로의 마음을 살피고 따뜻한 응원을 전하기 위해 마련되었습니다. ‘튼튼해지는 약’, ‘골고루 먹게 되는 약’, ‘행복해지는 약’ 등 긍정적인 의미가 담긴 약포지를 정성껏 포장하고, 봉투에 친구들의 이름을 적어 전달하였습니다. 사랑약국을 통해 약을 받은 학생들은 마음이 건강해지는 작은 미션에도 참여하였습니다. 쓰레기 하나 줍기, 친구와 하이파이브 하기, 선생님께 인사하기 등 일상 속에서 실천할 수 있는 미션을 수행하며 배려와 존중의 의미를 되새겼습니다. 이번 활동은 특수학급 학생이 포장, 분류, 수량 확인, 전달 등 다양한 역할을 경험하는 동시에, 전교생이 함께 정서적으로 교류하는 뜻깊은 시간이 되었습니다. 앞으로도 우리 학교는 서로를 응원하고 존중하는 따뜻한 학교 문화를 만들어 가기 위해 다양한 활동을 이어가겠습니다.

진로명사특강 방준성 교수님(UST)

2026년 6월 18일, UST 방준성 교수님을 초청하여 희망 학생들을 대상으로 「AI 시대의 의사결정과 윤리: 인간과 인공지능이 함께 만들어가는 미래」 특강을 진행하였습니다. 학생들은 인공지능이 의사결정 과정에 미치는 영향과 윤리적 쟁점을 이해하고, 인간과 AI가 협력하여 만들어 갈 미래 사회의 방향에 대해 생각해 보는 시간을 가졌습니다. On June 18, 2026, Professor Junseong Bang from UST delivered a special lecture for interested students titled “Decision-Making and Ethics in the AI Era: A Future Shaped Together by Humans and Artificial Intelligence.” Through the lecture, students explored the impact of artificial intelligence on decision-making processes and ethical issues, while reflecting on the future society that humans and AI can build together.

Kindergarten Little Athlete's Day

Little Athlete's Day On 16th June, the students embarked on a journey to the Choa Chu Kang Sports Centre for Little Athlete's Day. The students were able to participate in a professional Gymnastics Class with Gymnastic Coaches, where they tumble, jump and run in a professional gymnasium. During this event, the students worked their hand-eye coordination, their balance as well as their flexibility as they navigate the different fun obstacle courses. Thereafter, the students had a relaxing time eating their packed lunch at the picnic tables with their friends. Being at the Sports Centre, the students had excess to a full-scale stadium and running track. The kindergarten students were able to run to their hearts content and play football just like the recent World Cup on a competition football field.

진로명사특강 서상민 의장님(카이아 재단)

2026년 6월 11일 카이아 재단 서상민 의장님을 초청하여 희망 학생들을 대상으로 「블록체인: 차세대 금융 인프라」 특강을 진행하였습니다. 학생들은 블록체인의 기본 개념과 활용 가능성을 이해하고, 블록체인 기술이 미래 금융 시스템과 디지털 경제에 어떤 변화를 가져올 수 있는지 생각해 보는 시간을 가졌습니다. On June 11, 2026, Chairman Sangmin Seo of the Kaia Foundation delivered a special lecture for interested students titled “Blockchain: The Next-Generation Financial Infrastructure.” Through the lecture, students learned about the basic concepts and potential applications of blockchain, while exploring how this technology may transform future financial systems and the digital economy.

Buddy Reading with Kindergarteners

1.Buddy Reading with Kindergarteners 2. Dates: 10th ~ 12th of JUNE 3. Participants: Volunteering middle and high school students & Kindergarteners 4. Buddy reading bridges the gap between different age groups perfectly—giving older kids a real sense of leadership while offering kindergartners a cool role model to help them love reading. 5. Purpose: The purpose of the Buddy Reading Project is twofold, creating a mutually beneficial relationship where both age groups learn and grow together. For Kindergartners (The "Little Buddies")Foster Literacy & Language Skills: Listening to fluent readers helps them understand story structures, learn new vocabulary, and recognize sight words. Build Confidence & Positive Associations: Having a "cool" older kid focus entirely on them makes reading feel special, exciting, and fun rather than like a chore. Social-Emotional Growth: It provides extra emotional support, boosts conversational confidence, and helps them practice active listening. For Middle/High Schoolers (The "Big Buddies")Develop Leadership & Responsibility: Volunteers learn patience, adaptability, and how to mentor a younger person. Strengthen Communication Skills: They practice public speaking, active questioning, and how to simplify complex concepts for a younger audience. Earn Service Learning Hours: It provides a tangible, impactful way to fulfill community service requirements with measurable results.

싱가포르한국국제학교-제주 한천초등학교 온라인 공동수업 운영

🌏 세상을 잇는 교실, Global Buddy Project! Connecting Classrooms Around the World — Global Buddy Project! 6.9.(화), 싱가포르한국국제학교 6학년 학생들이 제주 한천초등학교 친구들과 함께 특별한 국제공동수업(사회 교과)을 진행했습니다. On Tuesday, June 9, our Grade 6 students at Singapore Korean International School (SKIS) took part in a special international collaborative lesson with their friends at Hancheon Elementary School in Jeju, Korea. ✅ 구글어스로 세계를 탐험! 디지털 영상지도를 활용해 싱가포르와 제주의 위치를 직접 찾아보고, 두 나라 사이의 거리를 측정하며 세계를 몸으로 느꼈습니다. Students used digital satellite maps to locate Singapore and Jeju, measure the distance between the two countries, and experience the world up close through their screens. ✅ 메타버스에서 아바타로 만나요! ZEP 아바타 공간에서 국제교류 친구들과 함께 국가 퀴즈를 풀며 서로의 나라를 알아가는 즐거운 시간을 가졌습니다. Inside the ZEP avatar space, students joined their exchange friends for a country quiz, getting to know each other's homelands in a fun and interactive way. ✅ Zoom으로 실시간 교류! 화상회의를 통해 서로 얼굴을 마주하고, 우리 학교와 싱가포르를 소개하며 진정한 글로벌 친구가 되었습니다. Through a live video call, students greeted each other face-to-face, introduced their schools and countries, and took a meaningful step toward becoming true global friends. 이번 수업을 통해 우리 학생들이 세계 시민으로 한 걸음 더 성장했습니다. 앞으로도 SKIS는 학생들이 넓은 세상과 소통하며 자라날 수 있도록 다양한 글로벌 교육을 이어가겠습니다. Through this lesson, our students grew one step closer to becoming global citizens who understand, respect, and celebrate the world's diversity. SKIS will continue to provide meaningful global learning experiences that help our students connect with the wider world.

2026년 5월 21일, 한국외국어대학교 백승훈 교수님을 초청하여 희망 학생들을 대상으로 「트럼프 2기 행정부의 대중동 정책과 한국의 대응 전략」 특강을 진행하였다. 학생들은 미국의 중동 정책 변화와 국제 정세를 이해하고, 이에 따른 한국의 외교적 대응 방향을 함께 생각해 보는 시간을 가졌습니다. On May 21, 2026, Professor Seunghoon Baek from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies delivered a special lecture for interested students titled “The Second Trump Administration’s Middle East Policy and Korea’s Response Strategy.” Through the lecture, students gained a deeper understanding of changes in U.S. Middle East policy and the international landscape, while considering Korea’s possible diplomatic responses.

2026년 5월 14일, NUS 박선민 교수님을 초청하여 희망 학생들을 대상으로 「Behind the Arts Scenes: 무대 뒤의 세계, 우리가 보지 못한 예술 이야기」 특강을 진행하였다. 학생들은 예술 작품이 완성되기까지의 과정과 무대 뒤에서 이루어지는 다양한 역할을 이해하며, 예술 분야에 대한 폭넓은 시각을 기를 수 있었습니다.On May 14, 2026, Professor Sunmin Park from NUS delivered a special lecture for interested students titled “Behind the Arts Scenes: Stories of Art We Do Not Usually See.” Through the lecture, students learned about the process behind artistic productions and the various roles involved behind the scenes, broadening their understanding of the arts.

2026년 4월 30일, NTU 박승민 교수님을 초청하여 G7–12 학생들을 대상으로 「스마트 변기와 공중 보건 기기 개발 과정」 특강을 진행하였다. 2023년 이그노벨상 수상자인 박승민 교수는 스마트 변기 개발 사례를 중심으로, 과학기술이 공중 보건과 일상생활의 문제 해결에 어떻게 활용될 수 있는지 소개하였고, 학생들은 창의적인 연구 아이디어가 실제 사회적 가치로 연결되는 과정을 배울 수 있었습니다. On April 30, 2026, Professor Seung-min Park from NTU, a 2023 Ig Nobel Prize winner, delivered a special lecture for G7–12 students titled “The Development Process of Smart Toilets and Public Health Devices.” Through the lecture, students learned how science and technology can be applied to public health and everyday problem-solving, focusing on the development of smart toilets. The session provided students with an opportunity to understand how creative research ideas can lead to meaningful social impact.

On April 10, 2026, Professor Gongpyeong Moon from NUS delivered a special lecture for interested students titled “When Design Goes Beyond Forms.” Through the lecture, students learned that design is not limited to shapes or appearances, but can also be connected to problem-solving, ways of thinking, and social value.

2026년 3월 25일, 권혁구 교수님(NTU)을 초청하여 G7–12 학생들을 대상으로 「AI 시대의 비즈니스 애널리틱스: 인과추론과 현장실험」 특강을 진행하였다. 학생들은 인공지능 시대에 데이터 분석이 실제 비즈니스 의사결정에 어떻게 활용되는지 배우고, 인과추론과 현장실험의 기본 개념을 이해하는 시간을 가졌습니다. On March 25, 2026, Professor Hyukgoo Kwon from NTU delivered a special lecture for G7–12 students titled “Business Analytics in the AI Era: Causal Inference and Field Experiments.” Through the lecture, students learned how data analytics can be applied to real-world business decision-making and gained an understanding of the basic concepts of causal inference and field experiments.

Elementary Open Class 2026

Elementary Open Class 2026 From June 2 to 4, we welcomed parents into our elementary classrooms for three days of open lessons. Parents had the chance to sit in and observe their children's lessons, getting a clearer picture of how they learn and engage at school. We're glad so many parents could join us, and we hope it was a worthwhile visit for everyone who came. 2026년 6월 2일부터 4일까지, 초등부 공개 수업을 진행하여 학부모님들을 교실로 초대하였습니다. 학부모님들께서는 자녀의 수업을 직접 참관하시며 자녀가 학교에서 어떻게 배우고 생활하는지 살펴보실 수 있었습니다. 많은 학부모님들께서 참석해 주셔서 감사드리며, 유익한 시간이 되셨기를 바랍니다.
